Wellness inspired by nature,
community, and purpose.

Tropical Island Café was born from a personal journey of transformation, healing, and a desire to share natural wellness with the community.

My Journey to Wellness

“Like many people, I was searching for a healthier way of living. My introduction to sea moss came through my brother, who encouraged me to try it for myself. What started with curiosity became the beginning of a deeper wellness journey.

As I continued taking sea moss, I felt renewed energy, increased stamina, and a sense of vitality I had not felt in years. That experience inspired me to make healthier choices, release old habits, and reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit.

When I struggled to find high-quality sea moss in my own community, I began learning how to source and prepare it myself. With guidance, faith, and dedication, what began as a personal need became a calling to serve others.

Today, Tropical Island Café offers sea moss and island-inspired wellness products crafted with care, intention, and gratitude. Every product is rooted in the belief that wellness should be accessible, nourishing, and shared.”

ROOTED IN THE CARIBBEAN

This isn’t a trend.
It’s a tradition.

Long before sea moss found its way onto wellness blogs and into smoothie bars, Caribbean grandmothers were making Irish moss drink — a sweet, spiced tonic served cold and passed between generations.

In Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, and across the Eastern Caribbean, sea moss has been a kitchen staple for over 400 years. It wasn’t called a superfood then. It was just called food.

We honor that tradition in everything we make — harvested, prepared, and packed by hand, with care and with respect for the ocean it comes from.
